CrossFit Generation recognizes the need for beginner athletes to be a part of their own program to fully teach all the CrossFit movements AND provide an opportunity for initial conditioning to build muscular strength and endurance BEFORE joining the regular CrossFit Generation classes. This 4 WEEK program allows beginner athletes to start working out together and “graduate” together into the regular adult CrossFit classes. It’s a great way to build camaraderie from the start and immediately be a part of our community. The required time-frame is a total of 8 classes (2x per week) however you can repeat the on-ramp program as long as you’d like before joining the adult classes. Once you have completed the initial 4 weeks, we will discuss with you your goals and how to move forward with CrossFit Generation.
CFG requires all new people to CrossFit begin in the On-Ramp program regardless of fitness levels. The class can be scaled up for people needing a challenge AND dialed back for beginners with little fitness backgrounds.

4 weeks (8-12 classes): $100
Each On-Ramp class is 45 minutes to an hour long. Class begins with a complete dynamic warm-up followed by movement instruction time. Each week a group of movements is taught, drilled and practiced. Movement instruction is followed by a WOD (Workout of the Day) that is approx 10-15 minutes in length. The WOD includes the movements of that day to allow beginner athletes to further practice them. Once the WOD is complete, athletes can ask questions and discuss various aspects of the class while stretching.
By the end of the 4 week program, beginner athletes will learn the basics of all the movements of CFG, have improved body awareness and refined techniques with the movements and skills learned. In addition, a base level of conditioning will be established.
Please arrive a few minutes early to your first class. You can meet with the coach, get a facility tour and sign the proper paperwork before class starts. Come dressed in workout attire and bring water along with anything else you need for your workout. Please notify the coach of anything they need to know about your in order to provide you with the best experience possible.
