Not all of us have the strength and ability to perform certain movements.  You can practice til you are blue in the face, but at the end of the day, ask yourself if you have the proper requirements in order to even practice the movements.  I can throw out a boatload of examples, but one that I always come back to is folks practicing kipping on the pullup bar when a deadhang pullup cannot even be performed. That only puts increased stress on a shoulder that is not ready for that kind of load/movement.  If you want to do it the right way, build your strict pullups prior to kipping.  We all need to build foundations and fundamental movements in order to progress to more advanced things. This is not always “fun” or “sexy” but is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Can you practice things?  Sure.  Should you practice things you aren’t ready for?  Ask a CFG coach.
