I started CrossFit when CFG opened its “doors” in a local park back in the Fall of 2007. Since then, I’ve obtained my CF Level I certification and competed in several CrossFit Games Sectional/Open and Regional Team competitions, including the 2011 and 2012 CrossFit Regionals.
I was never an athlete growing up – even though I tried lots of sports as a kid, my only varsity letter in high school was for management of the swim team (I’m very organized!). CrossFit has truly unlocked the athlete inside of me and I am stronger and healthier physically, mentally, and emotionally than I have ever been. I love everything about coaching at CFG, but my favorite part is seeing the look on an athlete’s face when eveything clicks and they do something they didn’t know they could!
My husband Vince and I live in Fort Washington with son, Owen and daughter Isabella and our crazy dogs, Sadie and Buddy. When I’m not at CFG, you can find me working for Johnson & Johnson as a project manager in Clinical Research & Development, getting my Masters in Public Health at Thomas Jefferson University or watching trashy TV (mostly Real Housewives… don’t judge).
