When you squat (Back, Front or Overhead) and you can’t seem to get yourself into certain positions you may ask yourself, why can’t I hit this? Most likely it’s because you are missing range of motion in either the ankle, hip or shoulder. Here is a quick test to see if your missing ankle range of motion. With your feet together lower yourself into a squat. If you are missing range of motion in your ankle two things could happen.
1) Fall forward or backwards.
2) Squat with a rounded back.
If you notice this happening make and effort to spend some time smashing your calves!
