When it comes to performance and getting the “right” amount of sleep, I think all the CFG coaches would put this on the top of their checklist. A typical sleep cycle lasts for approximately 90mins. So when you go to bed, think about setting your alarm based on this sleep pattern. If your go to bed at 10pm try setting your alarm for 5:30am instead of 6 or 6:30am. (A total amount of 7 hours) This could allow you to wake up during the end of a sleep cycle in which you body and brain are close to wakefulness.
