Yes, that’s right, I said it. We are about to get personal here (but not TMI kinda personal, so don’t worry). I have had more than one conversation about this topic with people, so I thought I’d address it briefly here. Great way to start off Week 2!
It’s true, when eating clean, the body actually can function as intended and eliminate waste properly! When eating nutrient packed foods, the body uses what it can and then eliminates the rest. For healthy individuals this cycle can take place multiple times in one day – I mean you eat more than once a day, right?! Spoiler alert: What that means is the body is working effectively! Some aren’t used to this kind of regularity because for so long junk food was preventing the natural flow and ‘gunking’ up the system. When switching to a more healthy intake of foods sometimes it can come of sort of a surprise at how the body releases waste. Be happy with this and maybe because of it you might feel not as bloated or backed up!
