Our Mission

Generation Fitness & Athletics/CrossFit Generation (CFG), became a CrossFit affiliate in July 2007, making ourselves the first CrossFit affiliate in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and the 94th affiliate in the world.   Over the years, we have built a community of athletes driven by results.  Since our inception, the growth of CrossFit has expanded to over 15,000 affiliates world-wide and at CFG, we continue to pride ourselves on being one of the true “grassroots” affiliates. Our coaching staff has over 30 years combined CrossFit coaching experience and can help you to generate your fitness potential and help you achieve more than you thought possible.

Facility and Programs

Generation Fitness & Athletics is a 12,000sqft CrossFit and Strength & Conditioning facility.  We offer a variety of programs for all fitness and training needs.  Our programs and classes include: CrossFit, CrossFitness, Kids & Teens, Elements (Beginner) Sessions, Nutrition Coaching, Personal Training and Sports Team Training.  More information can be found on our “Programs” page.

Training

At Generation Fitness & Athletics/CrossFit Generation, we work exclusively with compound strength movements and shorter, high-intensity cardiovascular sessions. We train short, hard, explosive, and relatively heavy with efficient movements that can elicit amazing results in all areas of physical and mental fitness.  We replace all the machines and neon dumbbells that you used to train with at your “Health” or “Athletic” club with barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, gymnastic movements, and cardiovascular drills.  Compound functional movements and high-intensity cardio is radically more effective at eliciting nearly any desired fitness result.

Methods

CrossFit Generation does all their own programming while following all the methods and philosophies of CrossFit that guarantee incredible results. We attempt to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains.
