Week 2 is in the books and we saw our first "what in the heck" moment in regards to performing "step ups" in replace of box jumps for improving scores. Although I disagreed with that being an option because it is no longer a box jump, I performed the "step-up" movement along with many others. It felt lame to do, but it is what it is. Onward and upward.
Team CFG is still holding on to hope for a Regionals spot with a 42nd ranking after 2 workouts. There is still time to make up ground, but we must be fierce and show no mercy on these next 3 wods.
John Busch has climbed the Masters charts after 13.2 and is now in 26th place in the world in his division. Top 20 make it the CrossFit Games. Could CFG be sending it's first athlete to the CrossFit Games?! We will find out after the next 3 workouts. Keep crushing it, John. All of CFG is pulling for you.
