Another repost from Jocelyn from last years challenge with a few edits:
A primal challenge is so good for numerous reasons. Here are a few:
- Enables the body to shift gears toward improved performance (in general terms)
- Allows enough time for kicking bad habits and forming new healthy ones
- Gives ample opportunity to reset the system internally and start internal repair
- Is not too long of a time period to seem too overwhelming
- Allows for some physical, external change to begin to be noticed
- Time frame is good to stay focus, motivated and meeting goals
The following are some faults we know are within the primal challenge:
- For some, it’s simply not enough time
- Ending too soon is a slippery slope back into old habits
- It only scratches the surface with results and health benefits
- When the “walls” of the challenge come down, goals get lost
So, since the days of the 5 week challenge are dwindling away (one week left!) it’s so important to take yet another good look at your goals and what you want to accomplish and decide how you will handle the challenge ending. Do you honestly need more time? Have you accomplished what you wanted to and are ready to move on? Speak with Barry or Jocelyn if you’d like further assistance with this. We are happy to talk it out with you.
