My article “A Glance into CFG’s Programming” talked about waving intensities across broad time and modal domains. Every workout you do has purpose, a goal, and gives you a certain feeling afterwards. The sign of a good workout is to not always have you wailing around on the floor not being able to move. A good workout should reflect if the goal was met and the feeling was apparent afterwards. If you continually drive yourself into the ground, you are creating a HUGE hole that is tough to get out of. If you look at our programming, you will notice that some days are much harder than others and that is for a reason. We want you to be able to train with proper intensity every day. Sure, there are times where you feel you cannot walk down the stairs the next day, but let’s not make that an indicator of a good workout. Remember, goal, purpose, and feel of each workout is important. Embrace each day and know we are training hard, but also smart here at CrossFit Generation
