We always think of stress as a bad thing, but stress can be good. ‘Eustress’ (eu prefix means ‘well’ or ‘good’) is the term for “good stress” and can be identified as short-lived, infrequent and can inspire you into action. Eustress elicits a positive, feel good response… a great example of eustress is EXERCISE! This type of stress has been linked to increased well-being and outlook on life.
