Loaded carries are such an important part to a training program. Today we’ll focus on one aspect of loaded carries: the core. Carries do so much for strengthening the core.  Stuart McGill, expert on the lumbar spine, says loaded carries should basically be just like ‘moving’ planks. And it’s so true! You must be so strong though the middle when carrying loads which is why they translate so well into the other aspects of our lifts and CrossFit movements. Brace your core when carrying loads — it will improve your lifts!
