In order to catch the Clean in a good position, you must have adequate flexibility in 4 major areas: wrists, elbows, shoulders and upper back. The bar should be received high up on the shoulders contacting the throat just slightly. If you cannot get into this position work on mobility drills to increase range of motion in the 4 major areas. If you need help ask your coaches.
