In general, many ‘tweaks’ in gyms don’t occur when performing heavy/max lifts. They occur when athletes are doing warm-up sets OR they occur when athletes are setting up or putting away equipment. This is because athletes often do these tasks without proper focus, positioning or core stability. It’s known to have proper form when lifting, but it’s sometimes forgotten when loading/unloading weight on bars for example. This tip of the day is a reminder to maintain proper form when doing these more remedial tasks in – and out of – the gym to stay healthy!
