Get the most out of the time that you warm-up by being mindful of how your body is feeling that day. If you have any tweaks or areas that need special attention, the warm-up is where it should be identified and, if need be, tended to. Be mindful of what your body is telling you and adapt accordingly instead of just ignoring it. Tell a coach if something is feeling off, and conversely, if you are feeling good, then that should mean a green light for the WOD! The warm-up is the time to prepare both physically and mentally, so don’t just go through the motions – be mindful.
