Today’s tip has to do with the lateral aspect of your lower leg, your peroneals. This group of muscles goes from the side of your knee and wraps around the outside of your ankle. Ever see someone walking with their toes pointed out? Most likely this is caused by tight peroneals. This is a bad position to be in as it causes a lot of stress on the knee and ankle. You may even have symptoms related to shin splints. To work on this problem area take a LAX ball, foam roller or rolling stick and smash/massage the lateral area of your lower leg. – Coach Bryan
