There are so many benefits to yoga as far as improved mobility, increased flexibility, improved strength, improved posture, better breathing, decreased stress levels etc… etc… We have been discussing yoga at CFG for a while now and are now excited to be able to offer it. We are starting the first session in June and it will be one 90 min class per week for 10 weeks. Alex Brazinski, CFG athlete and yoga instructor is going to teach the classes.
The first 7 weeks or so will be focused on myofascial planes and the last 3 weeks will work on more advanced poses such as headstand, handstand, arm balances, special requests, etc… Since Alex is a Crossfit athlete he understands the needs of CrossFit and is excited to offer yoga to our community.
Please email Jocelyn to let her know if you are interested and the Sunday 11am time slot works for you. We would like for participants to be able to attend most if not all of the 10 classes as it will be more progressional in nature. The number of participants will determine price, so let Jocelyn know by MONDAY MAY 19th if you want to participate. Once we have an idea of attendance we will announce the cost and give some final details before a concrete registration takes place and money is submitted.
